Full Product Details

RetiCap® DR is a once-daily eye nutrition supplement that combines R-alpha-lipoic acid with vitamins B1 and B2 and rutin, chosen by our optometrists for people who want targeted nutritional support for their eyes.

Key nutrients per capsule

  • 150 mg R-alpha-lipoic acid (in 300 mg racemate)
  • 1.1 mg vitamin B1 (thiamin)
  • 1.4 mg vitamin B2 (riboflavin)
  • 25 mg rutin

How it supports you

  • Riboflavin (vitamin B2) contributes to the maintenance of normal vision.
  • Riboflavin contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
  • Thiamin (vitamin B1) contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism.

Directions: Take one capsule per day, about 1–2 hours before a meal, with water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

Ingredients: (R)-alpha lipoic acid, capsule shell (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, colourants: iron oxides and hydroxides), bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose; rutin (rutoside trihydrate), anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids; vitamin B2 (riboflavin-5-phosphate sodium), vitamin B1 (thiamine mononitrate).

Optometrist tip: Take RetiCap® DR at the same time each day, 1–2 hours before a meal, so it becomes part of your routine. Keep up a full eye examination at least every 12 months, as many eye changes have no early symptoms. Speak to your GP or pharmacist before starting if you take any medication.
