Optometrist Top Tip
The Optase Cooling Mask is a reusable cold compress designed to provide cooling relief for itchy, red, watery and puffy eyes and eyelids, including symptoms associated with seasonal allergies, digital eye strain and inflammation. It uses HydroCool™ technology — cold-absorbing glycerin beads that hold and transfer cooling energy — to help soothe the eye area when applied to closed eyelids.
Simple to use, the mask is placed in the freezer in a sealed bag and applied to closed eyes for around 10 minutes, helping to temporarily calm symptoms through gentle cooling. The soft, comfortable design features an adjustable strap for a secure fit and is suitable for most adults and children, though contact lenses should be removed before use.
How to Use:
Place the mask in a sealed plastic bag and freeze for at least 1 hour.
Position over closed eyes and relax for about 10 minutes (do not exceed 20 minutes).
Wipe and air dry after use if the mask contacts oils, dirt or moisture.
Important Safety Notes:
For external use only; do not share the mask with others.
Remove contact lenses before use.
Avoid use on open wounds or severely sensitive skin.
Latex may be present in straps — exercise caution if you have a latex allergy.
