Optometrist's tip

LED light is cooler and whiter than a traditional bulb, giving better contrast for people with cataract or macular changes. Keep the magnifier moving smoothly along the line rather than lifting it between words, and use a dark felt-tip or a typoscope (reading window) for writing and form-filling alongside it.
