Xailin Gel Lubricating Eye Gel 10 g – Long-Lasting Dry Eye Relief & Protection
Full Product Details
Xailin Gel is a viscous, hypotonic carbomer-based eye gel formulated for long-lasting relief from dry eye symptoms — such as dryness, irritation, redness, gritty or sandy sensations, and mild discomfort.
The gentle gel creates a protective, soothing film over the corneal and conjunctival surfaces, helping to lubricate the eye, retain moisture, and protect against tear evaporation.
It can be used throughout the day as needed (2–4 times daily) or as directed by your eye-care professional. For those who experience chronic dryness — from screen use, environmental factors or reduced tear production — Xailin Gel offers lasting comfort and improved eye-surface hydration.
Because Xailin Gel uses a “soft” preservative system (that converts to water and oxygen on contact with the eye), it’s considered preservative-free for the eye, which reduces irritation risk while still allowing a multi-dose tube.
✅ Ingredients (Active / Key Components)
-
Carbomer 0.2% (Carbomer 980 / Carbopol 980) — viscous lubricant that maintains moisture and protects the eye’s surface.
-
Cetrimide (soft preservative, 0.1 mg/g) — ensures sterility while converting into water/oxygen on contact with eye to minimise irritation.
-
Sorbitol — a hydrating agent to support ocular moisture.
-
Sodium Hydroxide (pH adjuster) + Water for Injection (base).
✅ How to Use (Usage Instructions)
-
Remove the cap (ensure safety ring is intact before first use).
-
If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using the gel.
-
Tilt your head back, look up, and gently pull down your lower eyelid to form a “pocket.”
-
Squeeze one drop of Xailin Gel into the lower eyelid pocket. Do not touch the eye with the tip of the tube.
-
Blink a few times so the gel spreads evenly over the eye’s surface. If any excess appears on eyelids, wipe gently with a tissue.
-
Use 2–4 times per day as needed, or as directed by your eye-care professional.
-
Wait at least 30 minutes before using any other ophthalmic medication or re-inserting contact lenses.
